रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च
Hanuman’s Circuit of Ravana’s Palace and the Crisis of Deliberation
तं तु कृच्छ्रगतं दृष्ट्वा पञ्चत्वगतमानसम्।।।।भृशानुरक्तो मेधावी न भविष्यति लक्ष्मणः।
taṁ tu kṛcchragataṁ dṛṣṭvā pañcatvagatamānasam | bhṛśānurakto medhāvī na bhaviṣyati lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
Als er Rāma in tiefes Elend versunken sieht, den Geist gleichsam dem Tod verfallen, wird der weise, innig ergebene Lakṣmaṇa ebenfalls nicht überleben.
"Seeing Rama in such a painful state, wise Lakshmana who has given his life to Rama, to whom he is deeply devoted will also not survive.
