An manchen Stellen sah er Getränke, von denen nur wenig übrig war; anderswo waren sie völlig geleert; und wieder anderswo erblickte er Trank, der noch unberührt war.
He saw wine jars at one place, some fully drained, and at another place not touched at all.
The scene implicitly contrasts indulgence with discipline: pleasures are consumed and left behind, while dharma calls the seeker (Hanumān) to remain purposeful and unattached.
Hanumān surveys the aftermath of revelry—some vessels partly used, some emptied, some untouched—while moving through the palace interior.
Alertness and non-attachment: Hanumān registers details relevant to the setting without being drawn into enjoyment.
