समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः

Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

अथोर्ध्वं दूरमुत्प्लुत्य हित्वा शैलमहार्णवौ।पितुः पन्थानमास्थाय जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे।।।।

athordhvaṃ dūram utplutya hitvā śaila-mahārṇavau | pituḥ panthānam āsthāya jagāma vimale ’mbare ||

Dann sprang er hoch und weit in den klaren Himmel, ließ Berg und gewaltigen Ozean zurück und nahm den Weg seines Vaters, des Windes, und eilte voran.
