Sugriva on Surveying the Earth’s Regions

एवं मया तदा राजन्प्रत्यक्षमुपलक्षितम्।।।।पृथिवीमण्डलं कृत्स्नं गुहामस्यागतस्ततः।

evaṃ mayā tadā rājan pratyakṣam upalakṣitam | pṛthivī-maṇḍalaṃ kṛtsnaṃ guhām asyāgatas tataḥ ||

So habe ich, o König, die ganze Weite der Erde mit eigenen Augen überschaut; danach kehrte ich hierher zurück, in diese selbe Höhle.
