हिमवन्तं च मेरुं च समुद्रं च तथोत्तरम्।यदा न विन्दं शरणं वालिना समभिद्रुतः।।।।तदा मां बुद्धिसम्पन्नो हनूमान्वाक्यमब्रवीत्।
himavantaṁ ca meruṁ ca samudraṁ ca tathottaram |
yadā na vindaṁ śaraṇaṁ vālinā samabhidrutaḥ ||
tadā māṁ buddhisampanno hanūmān vākyam abravīt |
Ich erblickte den Himavān und den Meru, ja selbst das nördliche Meer; doch während Vālī mich weiter verfolgte, fand ich keinen Zufluchtsort. Da sprach der weise Hanumān zu mir diese Worte.
'I saw Himavan and mount Meru on the north and the northern sea. Still pursued by Vali, I could not know where to go when wise Hanuman spoke to me these words:
