तस्य मध्ये महान् श्वेतो ऋषभो नाम पर्वतः।।4.40.43।।दिव्यगन्धैः कुसुमितै राजितैश्च नगैर्वृतः।सरश्च राजतैः पद्मैर्ज्वलितैर्हेमकेसरैः।।4.40.44।।नाम्ना सुदर्शनं नाम राजहंसैस्समाकुलम्।
tasya madhye mahān śveto ṛṣabho nāma parvataḥ || 4.40.43 ||
divya-gandhaiḥ kusumitai rājitaiś ca nagair vṛtaḥ | saraś ca rājataiḥ padmair jvalitair hema-kesaraiḥ || 4.40.44 ||
nāmnā sudarśanaṃ nāma rāja-haṃsaiḥ samākulam |
Inmitten jenes Ozeans steht ein großer weißer Berg namens Ṛṣabha, umkränzt von strahlenden, blühenden Hainen, die von himmlischen Düften erfüllt sind. Dort ist auch ein See namens Sudarśana, leuchtend von silbernen Lotosblüten, deren Fäden wie Gold erglänzen, und erfüllt von königlichen Schwänen.
'In the midst of that ocean stands a majestic white mountain named Rishaba surrounded by trees filled with silver flowers emitting wonderful fragrance.There is also a lake named Sudarsana with glittering silver lotuses having gleaming golden filaments. Royal swans inhabit these surroundings.
Dharma is reflected as harmony: the world contains ordered, sanctified spaces that support purity of mind—useful for those undertaking a truthful, righteous mission.
Sugriva continues giving navigational markers—describing Ṛṣabha mountain and the Sudarśana lake within the Milky Ocean region.
Attentiveness and discernment: the searchers must recognize precise landmarks and remain focused on their duty.
