The Monsoon Description and Rama’s Counsel on Timing
घनोपगूढं गगनं सतारंन भास्करो दर्शनमभ्युपैति।नवैर्जलौघैर्धरणी विसृप्तातमो विलिप्ता न दिशः प्रकाशाः।।
ghanopagūḍhaṃ gaganaṃ satāraṃ na bhāskaro darśanam abhyupaiti | navair jalaughair dharaṇī visṛptā tamo-viliptā na diśaḥ prakāśāḥ ||
Ist der Himmel von Wolken umhüllt, zeigen sich weder Sonne noch Sterne. Die Erde scheint unter frischen Wasserschleiern dahinzugleiten, und die Himmelsrichtungen sind nicht hell, von Dunkelheit verschmiert.
