वालिविलापः
Vali’s Final Counsel and the Succession Charge
यथा हि त्वं महाबाहो लालितस्सततं मया।न तथा वर्तमानं त्वां सुग्रीवो बहुमंस्यते।।।।
yathā hi tvaṃ mahābāho lālitaḥ satataṃ mayā | na tathā vartamānaṃ tvāṃ sugrīvo bahumaṃsyate ||
O du Starkarmiger, wie ich dich stets gehegt und geliebt habe, so wird Sugrīva dich in der jetzigen Lage wohl nicht in gleicher Weise achten und fördern.
'O long-armed one! you have always been affectionately brought up by me. Sugriva may not rear you that way.
