द्वितीयः सर्गः (Sarga 2): Sugriva’s Alarm and Hanuman’s Commission
ततस्सुग्रीवसचिवाः पर्वतेन्द्रं समाश्रिताः।सङ्गम्य कपिमुख्येन सर्वे प्राञ्जलय स्थिताः।।।।
tataḥ sugrīva-sacivāḥ parvatendraṃ samāśritāḥ | saṅgamya kapi-mukhyena sarve prāñjalayaḥ sthitāḥ ||
Dann nahmen Sugrīvas Ratgeber Zuflucht beim Herrn der Berge, versammelten sich mit ihrem Affenfürsten und standen alle mit gefalteten Händen da.
Thereafter, all the ministers of Sugriva assembled together on the king of mountains and stood (in front of Sugriva), with folded hands.
Dharma in governance: orderly counsel and respectful conduct (folded hands) uphold social harmony and right decision-making.
Sugrīva’s attendants gather formally on the mountain, preparing to respond to the perceived threat/opportunity of the newcomers.
