Transliteration

viśvāmitre gate rājā vaidehaṃ mithilādhipam | āpṛṣṭvā ’tha jagāmāśu rājā daśarathaḥ purīm ||

Translation

Nachdem Viśvāmitra fortgegangen war, nahm König Daśaratha Abschied von Vaideha Janaka, dem Herrn von Mithilā, und brach eilends in seine eigene Stadt Ayodhyā auf.
