Trishanku’s Bodily Ascent and the New Constellations
Agreeing to these words of Viswamitra all the rishis, knowers of spiritual order and endowed with righteousness assembled there said:
Dharma is upheld through communal discernment and harmony: the sages respond not impulsively but as a united body grounded in righteous judgment.
After Viśvāmitra states his intention regarding the sacrifice and Triśaṅku, the assembled sages confer and prepare a collective response.
The sages’ dharma-knowledge (dharmajñatā) and unity (sāhitya) in arriving at a righteous course of action.
