Transliteration

tataḥ paramasambhrāntāḥ sarṣisaṅghāḥ surāsurāḥ |

viśvāmitraṁ mahātmānam ūcuḥ sānunayaṁ vacaḥ || 1.60.24 ||

Translation

Da wurden die Scharen der Rishis, zusammen mit Devas und Asuras, zutiefst erschüttert und wandten sich mit beschwichtigenden, bittenden Worten an den großherzigen Viśvāmitra.
