ऋष्यशृङ्गानयनम् — Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Ayodhyā
Bālakāṇḍa, Sarga 11
पूज्यमाना च ताभिस्सा राज्ञा चैव विशेषत:।उवास तत्र सुखिता कञ्चित्कालं सहर्त्विजा।।1.11.30।।
pūjyamānā ca tābhiḥ sā rājñā caiva viśeṣataḥ |
uvāsa tatra sukhitā kañcit kālaṁ sahartvijā ||1.11.30||
Von jenen Frauen verehrt—und besonders vom König—weilte sie dort eine Zeitlang glücklich, zusammen mit dem Opferpriester.
Honoured and worshipped by royal ladies, especially by king Dasaratha, Santa dwelt there for some time comfortably with the sage.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē bālakāṇḍē ēkādaśassarga:৷৷Thus ends the eleventh sarga of Balakanda of the holy Ramayana the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma of hospitality and reverence: honouring the virtuous and those connected with sacred rites sustains auspiciousness and social order.
Śāntā remains in Ayodhyā for a period, receiving special respect from the king and palace women, together with R̥śyaśṛṅga.
Daśaratha’s generosity and reverence, and Śāntā’s dignified presence within the royal household.
