आगतानां तत: पूजामृषिपुत्रश्चकार ह।इदमर्घ्यमिदं पाद्यमिदं मूलमिदं फलं च न:।।।।

Transliteration

āgatānāṃ tataḥ pūjām ṛṣi-putraś cakāra ha |

idam arghyam idaṃ pādyam idaṃ mūlam idaṃ phalaṃ ca naḥ ||

Translation

Darauf erwies der Sohn des Rishi ihnen die gebührende Gastfreundschaft: „Hier ist das ehrerbietige Arghya, hier das Wasser zum Waschen der Füße, und hier sind unsere Wurzeln und Früchte.“
