Bharata Beholds Rama’s Forest Bed

This is my brother's couch and it is here where he had tossed about. The grass spread on this hard surface is crushed by his limbs.
Recognition of sacrifice: dharma may require accepting hardship; witnessing it truthfully deepens accountability and moral resolve in those left behind.
Bharata points out physical traces on the forest bedding—flattened grass on hard ground—showing Rāma slept there.
Bharata’s fraternal devotion and remorseful attentiveness to Rāma’s suffering.
