Morning Rites Turn to Lament

ताभिस्स बलवान्नादः क्रोशन्तीभिरनुद्रुतः।येन स्फीतीकृतं भूयस्तद्गृहं समनादयत् ।। ।।

tābhis sa balavān nādaḥ krośantībhir anudrutaḥ | yena sphītīkṛtaṃ bhūyas tadgṛhaṃ samanādayat ||

Von ihrem Wehklagen begleitet erhob sich ein mächtiger Laut; immer weiter anschwellend ließ er den Palast wieder und wieder widerhallen.
