प्रगृह्य शिरसा पात्रीं हविषो विधिवत्तदा।महते दैवतायाज्यं जुहाव ज्वलितेऽनले।।2.6.2।।
pragṛhya śirasā pātrīṃ haviṣo vidhivat tadā |
mahate daivatāyājyaṃ juhāva jvalite 'nale || 2.6.2 ||
Dann, den rituellen Vorschriften gemäß, trug er das Gefäß der Opfergaben auf dem Haupt und goss Ghee in das lodernde heilige Feuer als Darbringung an die große Gottheit (Viṣṇu).
