Transliteration

tatas tu vigate bāṣpe sūtaṃ spṛṣṭodakaṃ śucim |

rāmas tu madhuraṃ vākyaṃ punaḥ punar uvāca tam ||

Translation

Dann, als seine Tränen versiegt waren und der Wagenlenker, nachdem er reines Wasser getrunken hatte, gefasst und gereinigt war, sprach Rāma ihn immer wieder mit sanften, süßen Worten an.
