Hearing (the words of) Guha, Rama replied By coming on foot to meet us and by displaying your friendliness, you have amply honoured us and pleased us.
Dharma as care for well-being: Rama’s first concern is the health and stability of Guha’s people and polity, reflecting righteous leadership values even while in exile.
Rama embraces Guha and inquires after the welfare of his family, kingdom, allies, and resources.
Rama’s empathetic statesmanship—concern for others’ welfare, not his own hardship.
