Night on the Bank of the Tamasa and the Stratagem to Elude the Citizens
एवमुक्त्वा तु सौमित्रिं सुमन्त्रमपि राघवः।अप्रमत्तस्त्वमश्वेषु भव सौम्येत्युवाच ह।।2.46.11।।
evam uktvā tu saumitriṃ sumantram api rāghavaḥ |
apramattas tvam aśveṣu bhava saumya ity uvāca ha ||
Nachdem Rāghava so zu Saumitri gesprochen hatte, wandte er sich auch an Sumantra: „Sanfter Freund, sei wachsam in Bezug auf die Pferde.“
Having said so to Lakshmana, he turned to Sumantra to say O gentle friend, tend the horses with care.
