amba pitrā niyukto ’smi prajā-pālana-karmaṇi | bhavitā śvo ’bhiṣeko me yathā me śāsanaṃ pituḥ || 2.4.35 ||

Translation

Mutter, mein Vater hat mich zum Werk des Schutzes und der Regierung des Volkes bestimmt. Morgen wird meine Weihe stattfinden, gemäß dem Befehl meines Vaters.
