O king! my mind derives no happiness from great enjoyment or personal comfort as it does from carrying out your order. This is corroborated by the wise. Your grief (relating to filfilment of the vow) on mt account will be dispelled, O sinless one!
True fulfillment lies in dharmic obedience rather than pleasure; wise tradition validates duty as the highest good.
Rāma explains that he values fulfilling Daśaratha’s order more than any enjoyment, urging him to abandon grief.
Inner restraint and prioritizing dharma over personal comfort.
