ततः कमलपत्राक्षः श्यामो निरुपमो महान्।उवाच राम स्तं सूतं पितुराख्याहि मामिति।।।।
tataḥ kamalapatrākṣaḥ śyāmo nirupamo mahān | uvāca rāmas taṃ sūtaṃ pitur ākhyāhi mām iti ||
Da sprach Rāma, lotusäugig, dunkel von Farbe, groß und unvergleichlich, zum Wagenlenker: „Melde meinem Vater von mir und sage, dass ich gekommen bin.“
