लक्ष्मणस्य वनानुगमन-प्रतिज्ञा तथा आयुध-संग्रहः
Lakshmana’s Vow to Follow Rama and the Retrieval of Divine Weapons
तदात्मभरणे चैव मम मातुस्तथैव च।पर्याप्ता मद्विधानां च भरणाय यशस्विनी।।।।
tad ātmabharaṇe caiva mama mātuḥ tathaiva ca | paryāptā madvidhānāṃ ca bharaṇāya yaśasvinī ||
Jene ruhmreiche Herrin vermag sich selbst zu erhalten, ebenso meine Mutter, und sogar Männer wie mich zu versorgen.
Make me your follower. There is no breach of virtue in this. I will have my purposeaccomplished. Your object also will be fulfilled.
