अयोध्याकाण्डे एकविंशः सर्गः
Lakṣmaṇa’s militant counsel and Rāma’s dharma-based persuasion of Kausalyā
सा माऽनुमन्यस्व वनं व्रजन्तंकुरुष्व न स्स्वस्त्ययनानि देवि।यथा समाप्ते पुनराव्रजेयं यथा हि सत्येन पुनर्ययातिः।।2.21.61।।
sā mā 'numanyasva vanaṁ vrajantaṁ kuruṣva naḥ svastyayanāni devi | yathā samāpte punar āvrajeyaṁ yathā hi satyena punar yayātiḥ || 2.21.61 ||
So, o Mutter, gewähre mir deine Zustimmung, da ich in den Wald gehe; vollziehe für mich die Riten des Segens und des Wohlergehens, damit ich nach vollendeter Frist wiederkehre—so wie Yayāti durch die Kraft der Wahrheit wiederkehrte.
Will any son with the ideals of a king in mind accept such words of this king who has entered his chilhood again ?
