यौवराज्य-प्रस्तावः

Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent

बलमारोग्यमायुश्च रामस्य विदितात्मनः।

देवासुरमनुष्येषु सगन्धर्वोरगेषु च।।2.2.50।।

आशंसते जनस्सर्वो राष्ट्रे पुरवरे तथा।

आभ्यन्तरश्च बाह्यश्च पौरजानपदो जनः।।2.2.51।।

vatsaḥ śreyasi jātas te diṣṭyā ’sau tava rāghava | diṣṭyā putraguṇair yukto mārīca iva kāśyapaḥ || 2.2.49 ||

O Rāghava, durch glückliche Fügung ist dir dieser Sohn zum Heil geboren; durch glückliche Fügung ist er mit den Tugenden eines idealen Sohnes begabt, wie Mārīca, der Sohn des Kāśyapa.
