भरतस्य प्रार्थना—रामस्य कालधर्मोपदेशः

Bharata’s Petition and Rama’s Instruction on Time and Mortality

धर्मात्मा स शुभैः कृत्स्नैः क्रतुभिश्चाप्तदक्षिणैः।स्वर्गं दशरथः प्राप्तः पिता नः पृथिवीपतिः।।2.105.32।।

dharmātmā sa śubhaiḥ kṛtsnaiḥ kratubhiś cāpta-dakṣiṇaiḥ | svargaṃ daśarathaḥ prāptaḥ pitā naḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ || 2.105.32 ||

Jener Daśaratha, von rechtschaffener Seele — unser Vater, Herr der Erde — hat den Himmel erlangt durch gänzlich glückverheißende Opfer und durch die gebührende Gabe der dakṣiṇā nach Vorschrift.
