आरण्यकाण्डे चतुस्त्रिंशः सर्गः
Śūrpaṇakhā Reports to Rāvaṇa; Rāma’s Might and Sītā’s Description
निशम्य रामेण शरैरजिह्मगै र्हतान् जनस्थानगतान्निशाचरान्।खरं च बुद्ध्वा निहतं च दूषणं त्वमत्र कृत्यं प्रतिपत्तुमर्हसि।।।।
niśamya rāmeṇa śarair ajihmagair hatān janasthānagatān niśācarān | kharaṃ ca buddhvā nihataṃ ca dūṣaṇaṃ tvam atra kṛtyaṃ pratipattum arhasi ||
Nachdem du vernommen hast, dass die Nachtwandler, die in Janasthāna standen, von Rāma mit geradfliegenden Pfeilen erschlagen wurden, und da du weißt, dass auch Khara und Dūṣaṇa getötet sind, ziemt es dir nun zu entscheiden, was zu tun ist.
