स तं रुचिरमाक्रम्य देशमाश्रमकर्मणि।हस्तौ गृहीत्वा हस्तेन रामस्सौमित्रिमब्रवीत्।।।।

Transliteration

sa taṃ ruciram ākramya deśam āśrama-karmaṇi |

hastau gṛhītvā hastena rāmaḥ saumitrim abravīt ||

Translation

Als er jenen lieblichen Ort erreicht hatte, der zur Errichtung eines Āśrama geeignet war, ergriff Rāma Saumitri (Lakṣmaṇa) mit beiden Händen und sprach zu ihm.
