अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम्
Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons
प्रतिजग्राह काकुत्स्थमर्चयित्वासनोदकैः।कुशलप्रश्नमुक्त्वा च आस्यतामिति चाब्रवीत्।। ।।
pratijagrāha kākutstham arcayitvāsanodakaiḥ |
kuśalapraśnam uktvā ca āsyatām iti cābravīt ||
Agastya empfing Rāma aus dem Geschlecht der Kakutsthas und ehrte ihn mit Sitz und Wasser; nachdem er nach seinem Wohlergehen gefragt hatte, sprach er: „Bitte, setzt euch.“
Agastya received Rama by offering him seat and water, enquired about his well-being and said: Please be seated,
Atithi-dharma (the duty to guests): offering water and a seat, speaking kindly, and ensuring the guest’s comfort are treated as righteous obligations.
Agastya formally receives Rāma with hospitality and invites him to sit.
Agastya’s graciousness and strict adherence to dhārmic hospitality.
