Dāna: Types, Recipients, Timing, and Fruits

स्नात्वाभ्यर्च्य यथान्यायं पादप्रक्षालनादिभिः । प्रीयतां मे महादेवो दद्याद्द्रव्यं स्वकीयकम्

snātvābhyarcya yathānyāyaṃ pādaprakṣālanādibhiḥ | prīyatāṃ me mahādevo dadyāddravyaṃ svakīyakam

Nachdem man gebadet und nach rechter Vorschrift verehrt hat—durch Fußwaschung und die übrigen vorgeschriebenen Riten—möge Mahādeva an mir Wohlgefallen finden und mir Reichtum aus seinem eigenen Besitz gewähren.
