The Hymn to Gaṇapati

and the Rule of Worshipping Gaṇeśa First

पार्वत्या सह भूतेशो ददौ तस्मै वरं महत् । अस्यैव पूजनादग्रे देवास्तुष्टा भवंतु च

pārvatyā saha bhūteśo dadau tasmai varaṃ mahat | asyaiva pūjanādagre devāstuṣṭā bhavaṃtu ca

Bhūteśa (Herr Śiva) gewährte ihm zusammen mit Pārvatī einen großen Segen: „Indem man ihn fortan zuerst verehrt, mögen auch die Götter zufrieden sein.“
