गंगां प्रतिवहेद्यस्तु पितॄणामस्थिखंडकम् । पदेपदेश्वमेधस्य फलं प्राप्नोति मानवः

gaṃgāṃ prativahedyastu pitṝṇāmasthikhaṃḍakam | padepadeśvamedhasya phalaṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ
