The Glory of the Devoted Wife (Pativratā) and the Māṇḍavya Curse: Sunrise Halted and Restored

asti kāryaṃ ca te kiñcidvadāmi kuruṣe yadi | tadā me hṛdi saṃtoṣaḥ kṛtaṃ sarvaṃ tvayā'dhunā

FAQs

A speaker asks the listener to perform a specific task, stating that fulfilling it will bring deep inner satisfaction—so much so that it equals having done everything.

No. In this standalone verse, no named deity, sacred place, or geographic marker appears.

It highlights the value of attentive service and responsiveness: completing one meaningful duty for someone can be considered as fulfilling all obligations in that relationship.
