स्वगात्रासनयोर्वाद्यं गुरोरेकासनादनम् । न हरेच्छ्रोत्रियस्वं च देवस्यापि गुरोरपि

Man soll keine Musik machen, indem man auf den eigenen Körper oder den Sitz schlägt, und man soll nicht auf demselben Sitz wie der Guru Platz nehmen. Auch soll man nicht das Eigentum eines Śrotriya (Vedenkundigen) nehmen – noch das einer Gottheit, noch das des Guru.

It teaches reverence and restraint: maintain proper etiquette toward one’s teacher and never appropriate what belongs to a Veda-learned person, a deity, or the guru.
