Brahmin Right Conduct: Morning Remembrance, Bathing, Purification, and Tarpaṇa Method

परतो दंतकाष्ठं च तृणैरुदुंबरादिभिः । अतः परं च संध्यायां संयतश्च द्विजो भवेत्

parato daṃtakāṣṭhaṃ ca tṛṇairuduṃbarādibhiḥ | ataḥ paraṃ ca saṃdhyāyāṃ saṃyataśca dvijo bhavet

Danach soll man einen Zahnputzstock verwenden, aus Gräsern oder von Bäumen wie dem Udumbara. Hierauf soll der Zweimalgeborene zur Zeit der Sandhyā in Selbstzucht verweilen.
