‘Paṅkajajānana’ (“lotus-faced”) is a common epithet for Brahmā, indicating the creator deity whose face is compared to a lotus.
After hearing Brahmā’s statement, the gods (vibudhāḥ) joyfully depart to their respective divine abodes.
The verse highlights orderly conduct and respectful adherence to divine instruction—after receiving guidance, beings return to their rightful duties and places without conflict.
