तं जीवयत भद्रं वो नानृती स्यामहं गुरोः । द्विजस्य संश्रुतो ह्यर्थो जीवयिष्यामि ते सुतम्

taṃ jīvayata bhadraṃ vo nānṛtī syāmahaṃ guroḥ | dvijasya saṃśruto hyartho jīvayiṣyāmi te sutam

„Erweckt ihn wieder zum Leben — Heil sei mit euch. Vor meinem Lehrer darf ich nicht unwahr werden; denn dem Brāhmaṇa ist ein Versprechen gegeben. Ich werde euren Sohn ins Leben zurückführen.“
