Concept: Let auspiciousness (Lakṣmī) lead; approach the offended with consolation (sāntvana) and humility to restore sacred relationship.

FAQs

Lakṣmī personifies auspicious fortune and благополучие, often associated with divine grace; Sāvitrī here refers to a revered goddess figure (commonly linked with the Savitṛ/solar sacred power), addressed as someone whose “dwelling” is being approached.

The speaker tells the addressee to proceed— with Lakṣmī metaphorically going ahead—toward Sāvitrī’s abode and to console (sāntvayasva) the speaker’s beloved woman.

It highlights a dharmic response to distress: approaching with auspicious intention, following a proper course (padavī), and offering comfort and reconciliation rather than conflict.
