तत्स्थानं तौ च वै कूपौ भगवान्प्रब्रवीतु मे । एवमुक्तश्च रामेण मार्कंडः प्रत्युवाच ह

tatsthānaṃ tau ca vai kūpau bhagavānprabravītu me | evamuktaśca rāmeṇa mārkaṃḍaḥ pratyuvāca ha

„Möge der Erhabene mir von jenem Ort und von jenen beiden Brunnen berichten.“ So von Rāma angesprochen, erwiderte Mārkaṇḍa.
