The Account and Merit of Śivadūtī

with the Nāga-tīrtha at Puṣkara

शिवदूत्युवाच । छागमध्ये तु वै देव छागरूपेण वर्तसे । एतास्त्वां भक्षयिष्यन्ति भक्ष्यमीप्सितमादरात्

śivadūtyuvāca | chāgamadhye tu vai deva chāgarūpeṇa vartase | etāstvāṃ bhakṣayiṣyanti bhakṣyamīpsitamādarāt

Śivadūtī sprach: „O Gott, wahrlich bist du unter den Ziegen gegenwärtig und verweilst in der Gestalt einer Ziege. Diese werden dich gierig und mit Wohlgefallen verzehren, als die ersehnte Speise.“
