ब्राह्मणाः सहितास्ते तु क्रोधामर्षसमन्विताः । अतिथिं भोजयानाश्च वेदाभ्यासरतास्तु ते

brāhmaṇāḥ sahitāste tu krodhāmarṣasamanvitāḥ | atithiṃ bhojayānāśca vedābhyāsaratāstu te

Jene Brāhmaṇas, beisammen versammelt, waren von Zorn und Groll erfüllt; und während sie den Gast bewirteten, blieben sie der Rezitation und Übung der Veden zugewandt.
