Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice: Kokāmukha Tīrtha, Varāha’s Aid, and the Arrival of Gāyatrī

पुलस्त्य उवाच । प्रश्नभारो महानेष त्वयोक्तो ब्रह्मणश्च यः । यथाशक्ति तु वक्ष्यामि श्रूयतां तत्परं यशः

pulastya uvāca | praśnabhāro mahāneṣa tvayokto brahmaṇaśca yaḥ | yathāśakti tu vakṣyāmi śrūyatāṃ tatparaṃ yaśaḥ

Pulastya sprach: Wahrlich, groß ist die Last der Fragen, die du gestellt hast, auch hinsichtlich Brahmās. Doch nach meinem Vermögen will ich es darlegen. Höre diese erhabene Kunde von Herrlichkeit.
