कं ददामि च वै कामं वद भोस्ते यथेप्सितम् । रुद्र उवाच । एष एवाद्य भगवन्सुपर्याप्तो महा वरः
kaṃ dadāmi ca vai kāmaṃ vada bhoste yathepsitam | rudra uvāca | eṣa evādya bhagavansuparyāpto mahā varaḥ
«Wen soll Ich dir geben, und welchen Segen begehrst du? Sprich, o Herr, ganz nach deinem Wunsch.» Rudra sprach: «Dies allein, o Gesegneter, ist heute ein großer Segen — völlig ausreichend.»
