The Greatness of Śrī Rādhāṣṭamī
Rādhā’s Birth-Eighth Observance
Unspecified narrator (Purāṇic narration within Brahma-khaṇḍa)
Concept: Purity of place and intention (yajña-śuddhi) becomes the mirror in which divinity is perceived; the divine appears where dharma is carefully tended.
Application: Create ‘yajña-bhūmi’ in daily life: keep a clean worship space, purify speech and intent before rituals, and treat service as an offering—divinity becomes more ‘visible’ through disciplined purity.

Sandhi Resolution Notes:
It presents Rādhikā as appearing/born at Vṛṣabhānu’s sacrificial ground, and describes her as being seen in a divine, radiant form when the site was ritually purified for the yajña.
Ritual purification (śodhana) marks the space as fit for sacred action; the verse links that sanctified context with the manifestation/visibility of Rādhikā’s divinity (divya-rūpiṇī).
It supports a Vaiṣṇava-bhakti framing in which divine figures manifest in consecrated settings, and where devotion and sacred rites become occasions for perceiving divine presence.
