janmāṣṭamī ca navamī caitre māsi sitā śubhā | kṛṣṇā caturdaśī kuṃbhe meṣe śuklā caturdaśī

Translation

Im Monat Caitra sind der glückverheißende achte Tithi der hellen Monatshälfte (Janmāṣṭamī) und der neunte Tag heilig. In Kumbha ist der vierzehnte Tag der dunklen Hälfte heilig, und in Meṣa ist der vierzehnte Tag der hellen Hälfte heilig.
