Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Sandhi Resolution Notes: नमोऽस्तु = नमः + अस्तु.
The epithet “kamalanetra” refers to Hari (Viṣṇu), describing His auspicious, lotus-like eyes—an icon of beauty, compassion, and divine sovereignty.
It is structured as a stuti (hymn of praise), centering devotion through direct salutations, divine epithets, and surrender to Viṣṇu as the world’s protector and the Supreme Self.
The verse teaches humility and refuge: recognizing the Supreme as the sustainer of the world and offering reverent remembrance (namas) as a foundational spiritual practice.
