Concept: The jīva enters embodiment in accordance with prior karma; even in the womb, karmically determined conditions manifest.

Application: Use the reflection on womb-bound helplessness to cultivate humility, non-harm, and urgency for sādhana—nāma-japa, ekādaśī discipline, and service to Hari’s devotees.

FAQs

It states that conception occurs under the compulsion of one’s prior karma—past actions guide the embodied being into a new womb and body.

The verse indicates that five conditions/features are observed for the womb-dwelling embodied being, but this specific line does not enumerate them; they are likely listed in the surrounding verses.

Since future embodiment follows prior actions, it encourages mindful conduct—ethical choices now shape the conditions of future birth and experience.
