The Deeds of Cyavana

महापातकनाशार्थे चत्वारोमितविक्रमाः । उपपातकनाशार्थं चत्वारोमितविक्रमाः

mahāpātakanāśārthe catvāromitavikramāḥ | upapātakanāśārthaṃ catvāromitavikramāḥ

Um die mahāpātakas (großen Sünden) zu vernichten, sind vier abgemessene Schritte vorgeschrieben; und um die upapātakas (kleinen Sünden) zu vernichten, sind gleichermaßen vier abgemessene Schritte vorgeschrieben.
