स्वयमाकृष्यते तैलं तेजसा निर्मलो भवेत् । कायवर्तिस्थितस्तद्वत्कर्मतैलं प्रशोषयेत्

svayamākṛṣyate tailaṃ tejasā nirmalo bhavet | kāyavartisthitastadvatkarmatailaṃ praśoṣayet

Das Öl wird von selbst herangezogen; durch die Hitze wird es rein. Ebenso soll, wenn der Körper der Docht ist, das Öl des Karma ausgetrocknet und verzehrt werden.
